"In the early 1970’s, French Olympic skier Emile Allais was commissioned to design Telluride as a vibrant ski mountain, bringing the best of European skiing to Colorado. We looked to Swiss Chalet style and Alps Decor and mixed in a uniquely local sensibility to create an environment that is timeless, nostalgic and spans continents. Working with over 30 collaborators and artisans (crafters, artists, sculptors, millworkers, stylists etc) the original inspiration of the project was brought to life."
